Mr. Tomy Fong developed a deep appreciation in craft beer through his career in the restaurant industry for more than 10 years. Also being the lecturer of multiple beer tasting and appreciation courses, Mr. Tomy Fong is happy to share the knowledge of craft beer and food pairing and a few tricks of the trade in the beer market.

Apart from being the first Certified BJCP International Beer Judge from Hong Kong, Mr. Tomy Fong is also the author of the best-selling book走進手工啤酒世界 (Translation: Into The Craft Beer World). He would like to share the rationale of writing the book, and the enthusiasm towards craft beer. Tomy will also share the experience of being a beer judge all over the world, and tell you intriguing beer stories from his perspective. Back Strap Weaving Experimental workshop

Back Strap Weaving is the traditional weaving wisdom, with minimal tools for weaving. But the complex steps can make good use of new technology, the traditional back strap method is simplified, you can experience the fun of the woven. By using laser cutting technology, we can easily produce a special tool to cut out a small woven frame. So we can weave different kinds of small works, such as hand straps, foot rope, headdress and so on with the self-made tools anytime, anywhere.

Hong Kong Nostalgia Lamp, the copper made lighting collections tell stories about the old days of Hong Kong by having the iconic cultural symbols and signatures. These became our childhood memories and there are lots of interesting stories to find out. Basic electrical knowledge will be included in this workshop. Participants will experience the process of piling of copper pieces and easy way of wire connection and lamp assembly

Coffee Ground regards as food waste in Hong Kong. But actually it is very useful in different area. With our fantasy imagination, it can even be used for dying process!
