As always at The Mills, we try our best to repurpose our decorations in order to eliminate waste while challenging our creative minds. This Mid-Autumn Festival, the frames used in our Chinese New Year décor have been transformed into lanterns. Aiming to connect communities through co-creation and participation, The Mills has invited a number of artists specializing in different techniques to put their special marks on our lanterns.

The Mills want to create a different experience for your visit. We have invited “Wahayeah” to hold a sketching workshop for our visitor, so you can feel or observe the space and people passed by through your eyes and body. Sketching day included: The Mills tour, sketching session and sharing.
Do you know if any of your relatives or friends worked for Nan Fung Textiles?
The Mills wishes to organize a gathering of former Nan Fung workers to have a Poon Choi lunch before Mid-Autumn Festival. Apart from lantern games and a Cantonese opera performance by kids, we invite workers to share stories of their days at Nan Fung Textiles. Each former worker is welcome to join this gathering with one of their family members for us to re-invent our traditions for future generations.
