Rooted in Tsuen Wan for over half a century, The Mills has transformed from a textile factory into a vibrant cultural space—where weaving becomes a metaphor for connection, creativity, and community.
Curated by the In Time Of team @intimeofhk , the “Weaving Festival” @ito.weavingfes returns in 2025 with renewed energy and meaning. Following last year’s success with over 15,000 participants, this year’s edition invites you to explore the theme “Dialogues with Emotions” through two full days of creative discovery on 24 – 25 May at The Mills.
Festival Highlights:
Over 20 Hands-on Workshops Hosted by Local Textile Artists
From embroidery, rattan weaving, shuttle weaving, natural dyeing, to screen printing—these hands-on experiences are designed for individuals, families, or beginners to connect with their inner selves and enjoy the therapeutic power of crafting.
