This year, The Mills annual flagship event — WeWeave Cultural Festival, will be held on 7 and 8 December (Sat & Sun), bringing a variety of local music experiences to the event and gathering local dessert craftsmen at the “Almost Christmas — Dessert Carnival”. New Power of Local Singer-songwriters to Sort Out Feelings in a Way of Music
The Mills hopes to share the little joys with everyone by way of music at the “WeWeave Cultural Festival”. This year, The Mills has invited a group of local singer-songwriters and independent music units to perform a variety of music styles in their own fashion and brand new crossovers to bring us fresh excitement and experience!
Members of Hong Kong singer-songwriter female group Beanies, Georgina and Winky, will debut on 7 December (Sat) with their loving vocals and sing out the girls’ story. Brand new music partners — Lai Ying x Goro, will crossover with new music units including MAIA, Chick Chan and Dick Wong, to release the power of young music and heat up the event under the chilly weather. Hong Kong Band — Zpecial, will perform a series of urban songs to create resonance.

On 8 December (Sun), multi-talented singer-songwriter Ng Lam Fung will kick start the show with his unique vocal and sing along with the inspirations of life where his music will embrace and soothe every exhausting soul. Independent music band KOWLOON K puts City-Pop and Jazz together in its own style and let you forget all worries with their lively performance. Singer-songwriters Kiri T & Gordon Flanders will unleash their creativity to motivate our passion for life and compose the finale of “WeWeave Cultural Festival”.

“Almost Christmas — Dessert Carnival” Local Dessert Craftsmen Come Together to Create a Touch of Souls in a Sweet Way
We believe dessert is not only a pleasure for the taste buds but also has the power to heal our souls. With Christmas on its way, The Mills has set up the “Almost Christmas — Dessert Carnival” during “WeWeave Cultural Festival” for everyone to share the sweetness with family and friends and weave fond memories, creating a feeling of happiness and celebrating Christmas with love and joy.
“Almost Christmas — Dessert Carnival” will gather 9 local popular dessert shops to offer a selection of desserts including vegan cakes, mochi, puddings and cookies etc. Every bite of these delicately handmade sweet treats will certainly bring you heartfelt blessings. Participating brands include “Mochi Tori” with freshly made chewy mochi slices, “The White Cake”with vegan cakes, “La Patisserie BAZI” known for its crispy peanut crisps and butterfly cookies, “Cake For You” with pistachio and strawberry desserts, “Witch Pudding” with Japanese caramel puddings, “s.w.e.e.t montage” with handmade sandwich cookies, “Middle Bakery” with quality British scones and “HO9CAKE” with mochi pudding cakes.

The Mills has exclusively designed a range of christmas stamps for participants to add a festive memory on The Mills’ heartwarming story postcards. The Mills invites everyone to write down your blessings for family and friends on the heartwarming story postcards at “WeWeave Cultural Festival” and these special Christmas thoughts will be sent out on 7 & 8 December for free. Your love and blessings will certainly warm the hearts of your loved ones this winter.
