The Mills has created WeWeave to celebrate its 2nd Anniversary, weaving a new kind of social fabric with a variety of contemporary cultural performances and experiences. Each crafted by local artists specifically for the festival, the experiences weave together art, culture and music in a way that incorporates cultural elements directly into the daily lives of Hong Kong people.

Local music talents are ready to deliver live streaming performances. Don’t miss crossover performances between local young musicians during WeWeave.

 

Renowned local singer Eman Lam will perform with upcoming singer-songwriter Ng Lam Fung. The hottest indie queen Serrini and Per Se will bring a breath of fresh air to the audience with their own interpretations of current issues; the talented singer-song writer Terence Lam and singer Tang Siu Hau will tell us about their journey to adulthood. Representing the local “Book Rock”, Jing Wong is sure to wow the crowd with his unique voice. Singer-song writer Kendy Suen and SENZA A Cappella will cheer everyone up with their unique style.

Theatre provokes imagination in life. WeWeave introduces an online dance immersive theatre bordcasted in live at 10 pm with the play 《Living Up to HER》 after the opening hour of The Mills. Co-Director Ivanhoe Lam and Chester Wong, creative text by Santayana Li, actors will lead the audience all the way through the newly built old Mills.

During WeWeave, a cultural and creative market will be moved online as well as The Mills online shop. Created by local artists, designers and craftmen, the product options are wide, ranging from sustainable clothing accessories, to home decor, plants, pet products, coffee, tea, wine and more.

How to redeem: Present any online market receipts to the concierge staff (Transaction date must be within 5-13 December 2020)

  • Any single spending upon $300 or above on from online market vendors within market period, can redeem a $50 cash coupon at The Mills.
  • Only one cash coupon can be redeemed for each purchase, each coupon can be used with a purchase amount of HK$150 or above

Specially for WeWeave, The Mills has designed a series of special edition souvenirs to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary and the spirit of The Mills. Visitors who spend a specified amount at The Mills from 5 December to 31 December can redeem hand-stitched fabric postcards made with recycled materials from The Mills Fabrica by presenting same day receipts (with a maximum of two transactions).

– Guests spending HKD $500 or above at The Mills can redeem a specially designed WeWeave hand-stitched fabric postcard*.

– Guests spending HKD $800 or above at The Mills can redeem a metal pin from The Mills.

– Guests spending HKD $1,000 or above at The Mills can redeem a specially designed The Mills Tote Bag.

** There will be a postbox at The Mills for guests to send the fabric postcard with Christmas blessing to their friends and family. Free local posting will be available on or before 13 December. **
