Established in the 1950s, Nan Fung Textiles was revitalised in 2018 and transformed into The Mills — a cultural attraction and photo spot in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. The exterior retains the original factory façade and architectural character, seamlessly integrated with modern design touches. The interior design retains the concrete style and features of the old mill. Original details including staircases, pillars and beams, old window frames and fire buckets have been carefully preserved, weaving the industrial heritage together with a modern sensibility.

To recreate the old appearance, we collaborated with artists to bring modern art into the space, creating photo spots where old and new blend together. Every corner offers an Instagrammable moment waiting to be captured. We continue to work with international and local artists, bringing innovative cultural and artistic elements to every corner. Step into this oasis in the bustling city of Hong Kong, wander through and discover. Have your camera ready for the surprises we have prepared.
